Mueller Alligator and Test Clips


Alligator clips are sprung metal fasteners with interior serrated jaws that are most often used to attach an electrical cable to another device. Banana clips are referred to as plugs for the male type and jacks for the female type. They are one-wire conductors used to connect wires to equipment. The end of the banana plug has a four-leafed spring that clips into the jack. Banana plugs are most often used as terminals for patch cords on electronic test equipment or for cable ends to connect an amplifier to a speaker.

Customers can choose from a variety of Mueller clips. They offer standard and mini sized test clips. Mueller alligator clips are available in durable copper and steel construction. Alligator clips may be found with both threaded and acetate handles. Mueller also offers insulated alligator clips with red or black insulation. A selection of Mueller banana jacks and plugs includes tapered handles as well as threaded and shrouded types.

 		The BU-60 is Mueller Electric's most common and versatile high-quality nickel-plated steel alligator clip. Has a barrel that is compatible with 4mm banana plugs, as well as solder or crimp termination. The BU-72-0 is a black flexible PVC insulator for BU-70 series clips.

The BU-60S is Mueller Electric's most common and versatile nickel-plated steel clip with an included screw for wire attachment. Also has a barrel that is compatible with 4mm banana plugs. The BU-70 is a nickel-plated steel alligator clip with a short crimp tail. Connects to wire up to 16 AWG via crimp or solder wire connections.
 		The BU-43 is a PVC insulator that replaces the one on the BU-41 series clips that you lost on your jumper cables.
