This is a wood filament spool made by MG Chemicals. This filament is manufactured with a blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and poplar wood particles. This material was specially designed to act like wood for it can be painted, sanded and even has the smell of wood. This is great for those want to use something a little different with their 3D printer. The printing temperature for this wood filament is 365 up to 446 Degrees Fahrenheit and different temperatures will affect the color of the final product. With this unique type of filament, you do not need a heated bed in your printer.
